The Blessing of Best Friends

God has blessed me with a lot of friends that I am very thankful for. More importantly, He's blessed me with best friends. I may not have very many best friends, but that's not what it is all about. I'm not going to bore you with every best friend, but I chose to pick four who have really impacted my life. Each person plays such an important role in my life, and they continue to be a blessing to me each and every day.

The first person I would like to mention would be my sister. Yes, she is family but she honestly is my number 1 best friend. She knows me better than anyone else. I know I can always count on her to be there for me and vice versa. I miss her every day, but I love that feeling I get when I see her after a long time. I'm so grateful to have been blessed with the relationship my sister and I have.

Now on to the other people. Another one of my best friends is Marissa Lester. She is about 4 years older than me, but she really is such a wonderful person, and age definitely doesn't matter to me when it comes to friendships. She gives me great advice and she inspires me in every way. I'm so thankful for her, and I know God has very big plans for her life.

Brianna Reid: Now this girl and I have been friends since k-3; and every year has been crazy. Haha. We've gone through so so much, but in the end I think it honestly has brought us a lot closer, and we definitely wouldn't be where we're at today. She is just like family to me, and I know this past year has been kinda hard for us, but I know we can get through whatever, cause no one can ever replace the spot she has in my life.

Last but not least, is Jendiya Johnson. We actually just met last year in 9th grade. Through thick and thin she has always been there for me also. I really thank God every day for this chick, because it's not every day that someone like her walks into your life (and only knowing them for a short time) and you end up becoming the best of friends. That's something I will always cherish. Her family is literally my family; and my family is literally her family. She gets me in a way no one else really can. We've created so many memories, and I'm looking forward for more to come!

Well, there ya have it! Even though that may not be all of my best friends, those are some of the more important ones. Each friend God has placed in my life has impacted me in a way, whether it be good or bad. I continue to find out who my true friends are each and every day. I could have went on and on with this post, but it's time for me to stop. I hope you guys are always grateful for the friends you have, and try to make the most out of life with them and enjoy each and every day! :)
