My Plan for the Future

So, I know what you're thinking.."You're only in high school, why are you thinking about your future"? Yes, I've heard it all before; and to be completely honest, I don't believe that there is ever a time "too early" to start thinking about your future. Yes, you should live in the now, and not stress so much about the future; but it doesn't hurt to ever think about or plan your future. Keep in mind, your future may not go the way you planned, but hey, at least you had something in mind, right? Everything will not always go as planned; and you have to accept that. You just have to let go and let God; and that is what I recently learned. For now, I plan for my future to be consisted of school, family, friends, and just enjoying the life God has given me. I'm going to finish my last two years of high school up, then I plan to go to USC for 4 years, then to John Hopkins for medical school. If you haven't guessed it by now, I desire to be a pediatrician! I absolutely love kids and working with them; and I really feel that's what God has called me to do. After medical school, I'll have to go do my internship, but sadly, I don't get to pick where I go. After college is all done with, I would hope by then I'd find a good, Christian guy to live the rest of my life with. See there? Nothing too complicated for my future. I just want to be happy and find God's plan for my life. As long as you're living in God's plan for your life; you really don't need to stress about the future. Just always remember God will never fail you and has a specific plan for just you. :D
