John Praying Hyde

John 'Praying' Hyde was born in 1865 in Carrolton, Illinois. His father was a minister, and his family was strong in faith. He wanted to be a missionary, so he traveled to India after graduation to pursue his dream to be a missionary, and to get his name out there. John prayed a lot. He cared a lot for other people, and always prayed for others. He was strong on his faith.
